DAV Police Public School, Faridabad Organises 100-Kundiya Hawan for a Drug-Free Nation

The spiritually charged event featured a 100-kundi hawan, slogan writing, and an awareness rally to promote purity, well-being, and a drug-free society.

Faridabad, 7 December 2025— DAV Police Public School, Sector-30, Faridabad , in collaboration with Arya Yuva Samaj,under the guidance of Shri Yogi Suri, National President of Arya Yuva Samaj, organised a sacred 100 Kundiya Hawan today with the

aim of seeking blessings for the success, well-being, and bright future of its students, while spreading the message of a drug-free nation.

Before the commencement of the Hawan, the school conducted a Slogan Writing Activity on the theme “Say No to Drugs”, in which students participated enthusiastically and expressed their creativity and awareness. This was followed by an awareness Rally, where students, teachers, and parents marched together to promote the cause of a healthy and addiction-free society.

The event witnessed active participation from parents, students, and members of the local RWA , who came together in the sacred ceremony to promote purity of mind, body, and society.

The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Devender Chaudhary, Ex. Mayor (Faridabad). He appreciated the school’s initiative in nurturing strong values among students and encouraging community participation for social welfare.

Special Guest, Smt. Praveen Batra Joshi, Mayor of Faridabad, commended the school for organising such a positive and inspiring event. Anil Nagar, Councillor (Ward No. 30), also attended as an honoured guest and appreciated the collective efforts toward building a healthier, addiction-free society.

The Principal, Mrs. Hema Arora expressed her happiness over the successful conduct of the programme. She stated that such spiritual and awareness-based initiatives play a vital role in instilling strong moral values in students. She extended her gratitude to all parents, students, staff members, and guests for their support and reaffirmed the school’s commitment in promoting a healthy and drug-free society.

The Hawan ceremony, held at the Arya Samaj premises in Sector 28–30 near Town Park, filled the environment with spirituality, devotion, and unity. The school management expressed heartfelt gratitude to all parents, students, staff members, and RWA representatives for their valuable support in making the event a grand success.
