Faridabad– DAV Public School, NTPC, Faridabad, successfully hosted the two-day DAV National Sports State-Level Karate Competition 2025-26 on September 27 and 28, 2025. The event, organized under the aegis of DAV CMC New Delhi, witnessed an impressive turnout of over 200 students from more than 25 DAV schools across Haryana, competing in Under 14, Under 17, and Under 19 categories.
Exceptional Performances
-Under-14 Boys- DAV Pundri (Kaithal) claimed the top spot, followed closely by DAV Sector-37 Faridabad securing first and DAV Sector-14 Faridabad second position respectively.
-Under-14 Girls-DAV Sector-37 Faridabad emerged victorious, with DAV Sector-14 Faridabad securing first and DAV Pundri (Kaithal) securing second places respectively, demonstrating impressive karate prowess.
Under-17 Boys: DAV Pundri (Kaithal) dominated the competition, securing the top spot, while DAV NTPC Faridabad secured first and DAV Sector-37 Faridabad secured position respectively, highlighting their exceptional talent.
Under-17 Girls: DAV Sector-37 Faridabad took the lead, followed by DAV Sector-14 Faridabad and DAV Pundri (Kaithal), showcasing outstanding performances.
Under-19 Boys: DAV Public School NTPC Faridabad won the category, followed by DAV Centenary Public School Urban Estate Jind and IDDAVPS Dabra Road, Hisar, demonstrating remarkable skill and dedication.
Under-19 Girls-DAV Sector-37 Faridabad emerged victorious, with DAV NTPC Faridabad securing first position and DAV Centenary Public School Urban Estate, Jind, and Kalanaur (Rohtak) securing second position respectively.
Principal Alka Arora emphasized the importance of such competitions in instilling confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship in students.
