Bhajanlal Sharma Engages with Union Leadership in Delhi, Pushes Rajasthan’s Development Agenda

New Delhi, 19 August 2025:Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Tuesday met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and several Union Ministers in New Delhi to discuss a wide range of issues related to the state’s development projects.

During his meeting with the Lok Sabha Speaker at his Parliament House office, Mr. Sharma held a meaningful discussion on development-oriented works in Rajasthan, implementation of welfare schemes, and other public interest issues. He also congratulated Mr. Birla on the Union Cabinet’s approval of the Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr. Sharma also met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary. The discussions included the establishment of a Language Lab in Jaipur, which would equip the youth of Rajasthan with essential global language skills and open new avenues for employment. The Chief Minister also discussed innovations in the education sector and the implementation of the New Education Policy with Mr. Pradhan, while requesting early release of financial grants under the Annual Work Plan.

 

In another meeting with Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Chief Minister reviewed preparations for the upcoming Khelo India University Games 2025, along with various aspects of sports development in the state. Dr. Mandaviya praised the Chief Minister’s Youth Employment Promotion Scheme, calling it a milestone in realizing the aspirations of the youth.

The Chief Minister also met Union Minister for Jal Shakti C.R. Patil at his residence to discuss the progress, implementation, and future plans of key water projects, including the Ramjal Setu Link Project.

Further, Mr. Sharma met Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju. The meeting was also attended by Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law & Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal.

In addition, Mr. Sharma held discussions with Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences and Minister of State for Personnel & Public Grievances Dr. Jitendra Singh regarding issues related to state civil servants and the Department of Personnel & Training.
