Faridabad: In view of the upcoming Shri Bageshwar Dham Yatra scheduled for November 8 and 9, Faridabad Police have made extensive security arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of the event.
Nearly 2,000 police personnel have been deployed across key locations to maintain law and order during the two-day religious procession. Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP) Rajesh Duggal, who is overall in charge of the security management, conducted a duty rehearsal on November 7 and reviewed all arrangements. He also briefed the officers-in-charge and issued necessary instructions for effective coordination and public safety. According to a police spokesperson, special teams from the Crime Branch have been assigned for security duties, while surveillance agents will remain active throughout the route.

The police are also maintaining strict vigil on social media platforms to monitor misinformation or disruptive activities. As per the schedule, the yatra will enter Faridabad through Mangar Chungi on November 8 and halt overnight at Dussehra Ground, NIT Faridabad. On November 9, it will proceed from NIT to Sikri for another night halt, before departing for Palwal district on November 10. Faridabad Police have appealed to the public to cooperate in maintaining peace and order, and to refrain from believing or spreading any misleading or negative information.
