The Impressive TimesNew Delhi, Apr 18 ,2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a conversation today with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, where they covered a range of topics, including the vast opportunities for collaboration in technology and innovation.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister shared:
“Had a discussion with @elonmusk on several subjects, including the matters we talked about during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year.
We explored the immense prospects for partnership in technology and innovation.
India continues to focus on strengthening our ties with the US in these areas.”
Earlier in February, the Prime Minister met Musk and his family during his Washington visit. Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur, is closely associated with US President Donald Trump and leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
These talks come on the heels of major telecom companies, Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel, securing separate agreements with Musk’s SpaceX last month to introduce the Starlink internet service in India.
