The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for Agniveer 2025 was held from June 30 to July 10, 2025, in a computer-based format (online mode). For the first time, the exam was conducted in 13 regional languages, including Hindi, English, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Odia, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Manipuri. This move aimed to ensure that candidates from different regions of India could attempt the test in their preferred language, enhancing accessibility and fairness.
To check their results, candidates will need to log in to the official website using their Roll Number and Date of Birth. After logging in, they should look for the link titled ‘Agniveer Result 2025’ on the homepage. Upon clicking it, the scorecard will be displayed, which they can download and print for future reference. In case of technical difficulties or server errors, candidates are advised to try accessing the website during off-peak hours.
The Indian Army Agniveer selection process consists of two major phases. The first phase is the online CEE, while the second includes physical fitness tests and medical examinations conducted during recruitment rallies at various regional centers. Candidates who clear the written examination will be shortlisted for Phase 2. The Indian Army has also clarified that after completion of the four-year service under the Agnipath Scheme, up to 25% of Agniveers will be selected for regular employment in the armed forces, based on merit and performance during training and service.
In recent years, the Agnipath Scheme has gained significant attention as a transformational reform in India’s defense recruitment model. Introduced to attract young talent and increase operational readiness, the scheme offers an opportunity to serve the nation with pride and purpose. Selected candidates, known as Agniveers, undergo rigorous military training and serve for four years under a fixed-term engagement. During this time, they are paid a monthly salary, receive allowances, and are entitled to the Seva Nidhi package upon completion of their service.
Once the result is announced, the Indian Army will also release the cut-off marks, merit list, and further instructions for the shortlisted candidates. To avoid missing any notifications, candidates are encouraged to bookmark the official site and turn on updates. Additionally, candidates should keep their application ID, roll number, and documents ready for the next stage of verification.
