The Impressive TimesPriyanka Chopra continues to earn accolades for her action-packed role in the new Hollywood film Heads of State. Among those applauding her is actor Dia Mirza, who took to Instagram to praise Priyanka for embodying strength and brilliance in her performance.
In the Ilya Naishuller-directed political action-thriller, Priyanka plays Noelle Bisset, a fierce MI6 agent alongside Hollywood stars John Cena and Idris Elba. Sharing her admiration on Instagram Stories, Dia wrote, “Priiiiiiiii! So damn proud of the strength you embody. A treat to watch you. ‘She said she’ll take care of it’—and she does!!! What a woman!”

Heads of State, now streaming on Prime Video, also stars Jack Quaid, Carla Gugino, Sarah Niles, and Stephen Root.
Director Ilya Naishuller recently praised Priyanka’s bold journey from Indian cinema to Hollywood, calling her career a mark of courage. “She was already huge in India, but she chose to take the risk and start over in a new industry. I admire that deeply,” he said in an interview.
Apart from Heads of State, Priyanka is working on several upcoming projects, including Citadel Season 2, The Bluff—in which she plays a 19th-century Caribbean pirate—and SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film with Mahesh Babu.
