Spectacular Cultural Evening Showcases Enthralling Melodies at the Main Chaupal of the 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela

Surajkund (Faridabad), February 13,2025: As the soulful melody “Tuu Jo Mila… Ho Gaya Sab Haasil…” echoed through the grand Chaupal, the entire Surajkund Mela arena swayed to the magic of Papon’s voice. The internationally acclaimed singer and composer Angaraag Mahanta, popularly known as Papon, set the stage ablaze with his mesmerizing performance at the 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela on Wednesday night.

The ongoing cultural evenings, organized under the joint aegis of the Haryana Tourism Corporation and the Department of Art and Culture, Haryana, continue to captivate audiences with stellar performances by renowned artists. Wednesday’s event was no exception, as Papon’s soulful renditions created an unforgettable musical ambiance.

Expressing his gratitude, Papon thanked Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Heritage & Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma for inviting him to perform at this prestigious international fair.

The electrifying night witnessed the audience swaying to timeless classics like “Lag Ja Gale,” “Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh,” “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage,” and “Pehla Nasha.” Each song deepened the musical enchantment, making the evening a spectacular celebration of melody and rhythm.

The event saw the presence of key dignitaries, including Haryana Tourism MD Dr. Sunil Kumar, GM Ashutosh Rajan, and a large gathering of enthusiastic spectators who enjoyed the enthralling musical fiesta till late into the night.
