Mumbai, September 28: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor celebrated his 44th birthday with fans and paparazzi in Mumbai, thanking them for their warm wishes and cutting three giant birthday cakes.
Videos from the celebration showed Kapoor arriving to greet photographers, who gathered to wish him on his special day. The actor thanked them with folded hands before cutting the cakes amid cheers.
The three cakes included a chocolate cake, a cake featuring the number 44, and another large birthday cake.
Kapoor also met several fans who had gathered outside to celebrate his birthday. One fan brought a small cake and became emotional while meeting the actor, who greeted her with a smile.
Another video showed Kapoor on his balcony with actor Alia Bhatt.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Next Release
Kapoor is currently preparing for the release of ‘Ramayana Part 1’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film is a two-part adaptation of the epic and features Kapoor as Lord Rama, with Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
The film also features Ravie Dubey, Sunny Deol, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Vivek Oberoi and Kunal Kapoor, among others.
The first part is scheduled to release in November 2026, while the second part is expected to arrive next year ahead of Diwali.
The makers have also released the film’s first song, ‘Jai Jai Ram’, accompanied by a motion poster featuring Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita.
