Noida , 12 April, 2024 –In a resolute move aimed at curbing encroachments within the notified areas of the Noida Authority, concerted efforts by the Civil and Revenue Departments have led to the ongoing dismantling of encroachments by various land mafias. Over the past month alone, the Authority has successfully cleared encroachments from 12 different locations, including villages such as Sadarpur, Mamura, Sorakha, Salarpur, Asadullapur, Mohiyapur, Gadhi Samastipur, Gulavali, and others. It is noteworthy that these encroachments, spanning across a total of 17 plots in the mentioned villages, have amounted to the liberation of approximately 56,885 square meters of land from illegal possession by land mafias. The market value of the reclaimed land is estimated to be around ₹236.80 crores.
In a coordinated effort to ensure the successful eradication of these encroachments, the Civil and Revenue Departments of the Authority have established mutual coordination to conduct an anti-encroachment campaign. The fruitful outcome of this campaign has already resulted in effective action against encroachments, setting a precedent for further initiatives. This relentless drive to continuously uproot encroachments is poised to deter the intentions of encroachers and land mafias, as the authorities remain steadfast in their commitment to maintain the integrity of land within the jurisdiction.
