GBN DEO Medha Roopam Conducts Quarterly Inspection of EVM/VVPAT Warehouse
DM reviewed security arrangements, all systems found satisfactory, staff directed to remain alert
The Impressive TimesGautam Buddh Nagar: DM and District Election Officer Medha Roopam on Thursday conducted a quarterly inspection of the EVM/VVPAT warehouse located in the Collectorate premises. During the inspection, security, cleanliness, and maintenance were reviewed, with the main gate seal found intact and CCTV systems fully functional.
Security at windows and ventilators was also checked. DEO instructed personnel to remain vigilant and maintain robust security, with all arrangements found satisfactory.
Representatives of recognised political parties were present, including BJP District General Secretary Dharmendra Kori, Indian National Congress District General Secretary Kapil Bhati, Samajwadi Party District In-charge Anoop Tiwari, CPI District Assistant Secretary Arun Pratap Singh, and Bahujan Samaj Party District Secretary Dr Ravindra Tomar. ADM (Finance and Revenue) Atul Kumar and officials of the District Election Office were also present.
