New Delhi, January 30, 2026: WaveX, the startup accelerator under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting’s WAVES initiative, has opened applications for the India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled from 16th to 20th February at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event aims to highlight India’s growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem and provide a platform for innovators to demonstrate cutting-edge AI solutions in media, entertainment, and emerging technology sectors.
Selected startups will get the opportunity to display their AI-driven products and services through a dedicated Startup Exhibition Programme at the MIB Pavilion. This pavilion will act as a central hub for engagement between startups, investors, industry leaders, policymakers, and global stakeholders, facilitating collaboration across technology and creative industries. Startups working in AVGC-XR segments and related AI technologies are particularly encouraged to participate.
The Summit is designed to strengthen India’s AI innovation landscape by offering structured networking opportunities and exposure to national and international audiences. It will also foster meaningful partnerships between startups, government institutions, and investors.
WaveX, launched to support India’s next-generation tech and creative startups, provides mentorship, hackathons, and structured incubation programs. It collaborates with leading institutions such as T-Hub Hyderabad and IIT Delhi and operates across nine incubation centres nationwide, including IICT Mumbai, FTII Pune, SRFTI Kolkata, and IIMC campuses in Delhi, Aizawl, Amravati, Dhenkanal, Kottayam, and Jammu.
