Faridabad– On the first day of the New Year 2026, VidyaInder Utthan Foundation organised its third and final blanket distribution drive of the month for underprivileged families residing in the slum area under the Badkhal Flyover. The initiative was undertaken to provide immediate relief to economically weaker sections severely affected by the winter cold.The drive was led by the Director of VidyaInder Utthan Foundation, Dr. Vijay Luxmi, along with foundation members Sushila Chaudhary, Sandhya Tiwari, Dropadi Devi, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, and Ishika Sharma. The team personally distributed blankets to needy individuals, ensuring that support reached the most vulnerable members of the community.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Vijay Luxmi stated,
“Winters are especially harsh for families living without proper shelter. Through our continuous blanket distribution drives, we aim to provide not only warmth but also a sense of care, dignity, and support to those in need. This is our third and concluding blanket distribution drive of the month, and beginning the New Year with service reinforces our commitment to humanitarian values. We believe that meaningful change begins with small, consistent efforts.”
Dr. Luxmi further added that VidyaInder Utthan Foundation remains dedicated to working at the grassroots level and will continue to initiate welfare programs focusing on education, health, and social upliftment for underprivileged communities.Members of the Foundation emphasized that the blanket distribution drive is part of a broader series of winter relief initiatives conducted throughout the month. With this third drive, the Foundation successfully concluded its winter outreach activities for the period.
