The Impressive TimesFaridabad, July 16, 2024 : Lions Club Faridabad, in collaboration with Time Equipment Pvt Ltd, organized a tree plantation event at the Additional Industrial Area, NIT, Faridabad, today. The initiative, titled “Viriksha Ropan Karna Dharm Nibhana Hai Aaj Ke Yug Mai,” saw the planting of 51 trees by leaders and employees of Time Equipment, a subsidiary of Tata Hitachi.
During the event, Lion R K Chilana, Project Chairman and Director, and Lion Satish Parnami, Director of Time Equipment, emphasized the crucial role of tree planting in environmental conservation. They stressed the importance of collective efforts to protect the environment by increasing green cover.
Various dignitaries and officials from Lions Club Faridabad participated in the plantation drive, including Lion S M Nagpal, Region Chairperson, and Lion S K Khanna, President of Lions Club Faridabad Humdard. Also present were Lion Raman Grover, President of Lions Club Faridabad Lake City, Lion Sonia Bhatia, President of Lions Club Faridabad Maitri, and other club presidents from Faridabad and surrounding areas.
Addressing the gathering, Lion R K Chilana and Lion Satish Parnami highlighted the significance of sustainable practices and community participation in preserving the planet for future generations. They commended Team TIME for their active involvement in the environmental initiative.
