The Bhagwant Singh Mann government created history by giving government jobs to nearly 50,000 youth in just 32 months

In the by-elections, the people of Punjab once again rejected the arrogant politicians of the state

Chandigarh, November 25:The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has today set a new record by giving government jobs to nearly 50,000 youth in just 32 months of its tenure.
The Chief Minister today PSPCL. handed over appointment letters to 1311 youths, with which a total of 49,427 government employees have been recruited since assuming office in March, 2022.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated all the youth who got government jobs on this auspicious day. He said, “This is not a favor to the youth of the state but they deserve these jobs but the previous governments never thought about them.” Bhagwant Singh Maan said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that these youth Jobs got based on full merit.

The Chief Minister said that the entire recruitment process has been conducted in a fair and transparent manner. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he assumed office in March, 2022 and a few months later coal supply was resumed from Pachwara Col mine. He said that the state has a private company GVK. Power-owned Goindwal has created history by buying the power plant.

The Chief Minister said that the state government has provided private company GVK at a cost of Rs 1080 crore. A new success story has been written by buying Goindwal Power Plant owned by Power Power. He said that for the first time a reverse trend has been seen in the state as the government has bought private power plants while earlier the state governments used to sell their properties to interested individuals at a bargain price. He encouraged the youth to take advantage of the government jobs offered by the state government and said that the Punjab government is leaving no stone unturned to make the youth active partners in the progress and development of the state.

The Chief Minister said that Punjab is a blessed land because the villages of the state are full of great gurus, saints, great men and martyrs and the state has produced heroic sons who sacrificed their lives for the country. He said that Punjabis are entrepreneurs by birth, due to which they have proved their ability all over the world. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that there is no end to the hard work of Punjabis due to which they are struggling in every field.


The Chief Minister said that the youth who were forced to go abroad after being disappointed by the bad system of the previous governments are now returning, which is a positive trend of repatriation in the state. The Chief Minister said that his government has provided government jobs to more than 49,427 youth in less than three years, which is a record in the history of Punjab. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that among those getting government jobs, there are some youths who have returned from abroad.

The Chief Minister said that the people of the state have removed from power those political parties who used to enjoy power repeatedly like ‘Uttar kato mein chadhan’ to loot the state after every five years. The Chief Minister said that his government has been given an opportunity to serve the people and he will work hard to live up to their expectations. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the opposition leaders condemn them only because these politicians are hurt by the pro-people decisions taken by their government.
The Chief Minister said, “Traditional parties are jealous of me because I belong to a simple family. These leaders considered it their fundamental right to remain in power, due to which they are unable to digest how the Aam Aadmi is running the governance of the state so well. These politicians fooled people for a long time but now people will not fall for their misleading propaganda.”

The Chief Minister said that these arrogant politicians had always treated the people of the state as ‘personal fiefdoms’ due to which the people finally showed them the way out. He said that only three days ago, people had removed such politicians from power who called them ‘variety’. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that people are supreme in democracy but these politicians have kept them as their vote bank, due to which people have taught them a lesson.

The Chief Minister invited the newly appointed youth to become an integral part of the government and encouraged them to serve the people with full passion. Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed hope that the newly appointed youth will use their pen to help the needy and backward sections of the society. He said that these youth should make efforts to ensure maximum public welfare so that every section of the society can benefit from it.


Targeting the previous governments, the Chief Minister said that these leaders have built big palaces by collecting money by misusing their official positions. He said that the walls of these palaces are high and the doors are usually closed to the public. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these leaders did not take the essence of the people during their tenure, due to which the public has shown them the way out of power.
The Chief Minister sarcastically said that such events of public importance and happiness were rarely seen during the previous governments. He further said that now a new era has started when the government is devoting new projects for the people and the youth are getting more job opportunities. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is a glimpse of the steps towards a colorful Punjab and the state government is now leaving no stone unturned for the convenience of the people.
Earlier, Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO welcomed the Chief Minister and other dignitaries.
