People of Haryana want change and they have lot of expectations from Aam Aadmi Party, we will fight elections with full force: Bhagwant Mann

NEW DELHI/CHANDIGARH, July 18 , 2024 – The Aam Aadmi Party has decided to contest the Haryana assembly elections alone. On Thursday, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann, Rajya Sabha MP and National Spokesperson Sanjay Singh and Rajya Sabha MP and National General Secretary (Organization) Dr. Sandeep Pathak announced this in a joint press conference. During this, the AAP also started the election campaign with the slogan “Badlenge Haryana Ka Haal, Ab Laayenge Kejriwal”. Now on July 20th, a town hall meeting will be held and “Kejriwal Ki Guarantee” will be announced for the people of Haryana. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest all 90 seats with full strength. The people of Haryana want change and they have a lot of expectations from the Aam Aadmi Party. On this occasion, Haryana State President of Aam Aadmi Party Dr. Sushil Gupta and Senior State Vice President Anurag Dhanda were also in attendance.

Addressing the press, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that ever since the Aam Aadmi Party has secured 14% votes in Gujarat, the Aam Aadmi Party was certified as a national party by the Election Commission. The Aam Aadmi Party has achieved the status of a national party in the shortest time. There is Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi and Punjab, 5 MLAs are in Gujarat and 2 MLAs are in Goa. We have a mayor in Chandigarh and Singoli. The Aam Aadmi Party will contest the assembly elections in Haryana on all 90 assembly seats with full strength. Half of Haryana is connected to Punjab and half to Delhi and there is AAP government in both of these states.

He stated, “The people of Haryana gave a chance to all the parties, but everyone looted Haryana. That is why the people of Haryana now want change. Haryana’s son Arvind Kejriwal has changed the politics of the entire country. That is why this time “Badlenge Haryana Ka Haal, Ab Laayenge Kejriwal” (Will change Haryana’s condition, now we will bring Kejriwal). He said that Haryana shares its culture with Delhi and Punjab. In the recent assembly by-elections, the Aam Aadmi Party registered a one-sided victory from Jalandhar seat. In the Lok Sabha elections, it won Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Anantpur seats. Being the Chief Minister, it is my duty to go campaigning wherever I am assigned duty in the entire country. We will fight with full strength by forming a team.”

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party will fight the elections in Haryana with full strength. We took this decision because the people of Haryana have seen the rule of all parties. According to Prime Minister Modi, a double-engine government has been running in Haryana for the last 10 years. But what has this double-engine government given to Haryana in the last 10 years, this is a very important question.

He further stated, “Today, Haryana has become a stronghold of ransom gangs. We saw lathis being used on the roads of Haryana, we also saw how Haryana farmers were crushed during the agitation and how the demands of Haryana-Punjab farmers were trampled upon. Unemployment is the biggest problem in Haryana. There are families of martyrs in every village of Haryana and a village gate is built in the name of a martyr. At the same time, the BJP government comes up with schemes like ‘Agniveer’. The youth of Haryana and Punjab feel proud after joining the army that they are willing to sacrifice their lives to protect our Mother India. But the BJP has put the Indian army on contract. Will the Indian Army run on a 4-year contract job?” he questioned.

The senior AAP leader said that this is an insult to the Indian Army, an insult to the youth of Haryana as well, who proudly join the army and sacrifice their lives. Agniveer Yojana is a betrayal to the country and it should be withdrawn. This will be our issue in this election. The issue of the price of the farmers’ crops will also be a priority. Whenever a farmer goes to demand the price of his crop, he is treated with a lathi-charge. It is not hidden from anyone what condition the BJP government has brought Haryana to in terms of unemployment. Apart from this, the ransom industry is thriving in Haryana, the state president of a party was shot dead.

“Today, people have hope from the Aam Aadmi Party. CM Arvind Kejriwal has shown his work as the Chief Minister in Delhi. Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has shown his work in just two years. Till now, 43,000 government jobs have been given to the youth, where there has not been a single case of bribery and paper leak. The Delhi model is becoming a topic of discussion throughout the country today, which includes the model of education, health, electricity-water and pilgrimage of the elderly,” Sanjay Singh stated.

He added that the Aam Aadmi Party has done exemplary work. When the wife of former US President Donald Trump came to India, she visited Arvind Kejriwal’s school. That is why the people of Haryana have given a slogan for their son “Badlenge Haryana Ka Haal, Ab Laayenge Kejriwal”. With this slogan, the Aam Aadmi Party will enter the elections with full force. He said that the condition of the country has been created by the BJP at this time. They have replaced Khattar’s engine (Manohar Lal Khattar, former CM of Haryana) with Saini’s engine (Nayab Singh Saini, present CM of Haryana). However, the public knows everything and will give them a befitting reply in the elections. The Aam Aadmi Party will strongly contest the elections on all 90 seats of Haryana.

National General Secretary (Organization) Dr. Sandeep Pathak said that if anyone has any doubts about how the Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections in Haryana? So, I want to make it clear that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections in Haryana in such a way that the world will see. Such a contest has never happened before today and will never happen again. The Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections to form the government. It will contest the elections with full strength in every seat and every booth. The Aam Aadmi Party has already conducted Jan Samvad Sabhas (public meetings) for change in 6,500 villages. Only one thing is coming out in these meetings that this time we need change. This time, the people of Haryana are looking towards their son Arvind Kejriwal with hopeful eyes.

In the Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party candidate Dr. Sushil Gupta directly won 4 assembly seats in Kurukshetra. We lost in that election by a small margin. With the same strength with which the Kurukshetra election was fought, the Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections in every assembly, every village and every booth,” he concluded.
