Tennis: Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz Wins Wimbledon Men’s Singles Title

In Wimbledon tennis, Carlos Alcaraz of Spain clinched the Men’s Singles title by defeating Novak Djokovic of Serbia, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6. Alcaraz comfortably won the first two sets 6-2, 6-2, but Djokovic bounced back in the third. However, Alcaraz secured the third set as well, clinching the title. This was Alcaraz’s second appearance in a Wimbledon final, while Djokovic is a seven-time champion of the championship.

In the Mixed Doubles final, the seventh-seeded Polish-Taiwan pair of Jan Zieliński and Hsieh Su-Wei claimed their second Grand Slam title of the season. They defeated the Mexican duo Giuliana Olmos and Santiago Gonzalez in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-2.
