Palwal: Under the leadership and direction of SP Palwal, IPS Chandra Mohan, the district police have launched the “Every Criminal Will Be Held Accountable” campaign. As part of this initiative, the police are actively apprehending fugitives and wanted criminals involved in serious crimes for decades, as well as Proclaimed Offenders (POs) and Bail Jumpers.
Key Arrests Under the Campaign:
Hathin AVT Police Team:
Inspector Karmveer Singh’s team successfully arrested Mubarik, a resident of Guraksar village, who had been absconding in a 2021 attempted murder case and was declared a Proclaimed Offender (PO).
Chandhat Police Station Team:
Inspector Sundar Pal’s team arrested Diwan Singh, a resident of Dhani Gurdas, who was absconding in a 2019 robbery and Arms Act case and had been declared a Proclaimed Offender (PO) by the court.
Hodal Police Station Team:
Inspector Yasveer Singh’s team apprehended Jamshed, a resident of Gokalpur, Nuh district, who had been declared a Proclaimed Offender (PO) by the court in a 2019 cow slaughter case.
Hodal Crime Branch Team:
Inspector Umar Mohammad’s team arrested Sahoon, a resident of Bima, Firozpur Jhirka, Nuh district, in connection with possessing stolen goods from a 2013 theft case.
The team also nabbed Lalit alias Lallu and Satish, residents of Kachcha Talab, Hodal, who had been declared Bail Jumpers in a 2019 assault case.
Gadpuri Police Station Team:
Inspector Mukesh Kumar’s team arrested Raj Singh (resident of Firozpur, Palwal) and Lakshman (resident of Daya Colony, Palwal), who had outstanding arrest warrants in separate cases under the NI Act and a 2022 assault case registered at City Palwal Police Station.
SP Chandra Mohan’s Warning to Criminals:
SP Chandra Mohan, IPS, issued a stern warning to criminals, stating that escaping from Palwal Police will no longer be easy. He assured that criminals identified on the police radar will soon be behind bars. He further added that this campaign has yielded positive results in crime control, leading to a notable decrease in criminal activities in the district.
All arrested individuals are being processed as per legal protocols and will be presented before the court.
