FOGAAT Public School Wins Overall Karate Tournament Trophy

Victorious Among Over 400 Students from 84 Schools

Faridabad , 29 December , 2024 – Fogaat Public Senior Secondary School, located in Rajiv Colony, Sector 56, has won the Overall Karate Tournament Trophy, sparking celebrations throughout the school. The tournament was organized by the Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Mission Association, Faridabad, and hosted at Fogaat Public Senior Secondary School.

This district-level 3rd Goju-Ryu Karate Tournament saw participation from over 400 students representing 84 schools across the district. The competition was overseen by 60 coaches and featured participants aged 12 to 18 years competing in various events. Fogaat Public Senior Secondary School claimed the first prize, securing the overall tournament trophy. Sarvottam School from Dabua took second place, while Vidya Darshan School from Jawahar Colony secured third place.

Fogaat Public School athletes achieved remarkable success, winning 20 gold, 18 silver, and 25 bronze medals.

On this occasion, the school chairman, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh, emphasized the importance of sports in fostering human values and highlighted how sports can pave the way for promising careers. He acknowledged the government’s support for athletes through provisions like jobs and cash prizes.

Chaudhary also mentioned that Fogaat Public Senior Secondary School consistently promotes sports and has produced students who have achieved national and international accolades. Alongside this, the school has also achieved remarkable milestones in academics, with a focus on the holistic development of students as its core principle.

Prominent attendees at the event included Pradeep Dagar, DPE Deepchand Dagar, Sagar Bindal, Virendra Thapa, Navraj Phogat, Himani, Bal Kishan Shastri, and the school’s karate coach, Vivek Chauhan.
