Faridabad: The newly appointed Joint Police Commissioner of Faridabad, Rajesh Duggal IPS, was warmly welcomed by members of the Haryana Property Consultants Federation, social harmony representatives, and media personnel upon assuming his new role.
The Haryana Government recently appointed Rajesh Duggal, a 2010 batch IPS officer and former Deputy Inspector General of Police, to this prestigious position. Known for his stellar contributions, he has previously served as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Headquarters (twice), DCP Central, and DCP Ballabhgarh in Faridabad, earning a reputation for excellence. During his tenure as DCP Ballabhgarh in March 2024, he was promoted to the rank of DIG.
His illustrious career spans over a decade, with postings as Superintendent of Police in Panipat, Rewari, Palwal, Nuh, Jhajjar, and other districts, as well as positions such as Joint Commissioner of Police and DCP Crime in Gurugram. His commendable bravery earned him the Police Medal for Gallantry in 2010, while his outstanding services were recognized with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service in 2014.
Speaking on his priorities, Rajesh Duggal emphasized combating cybercrime and crimes against women, while also pledging to enhance Faridabad’s traffic management system.
As he assumed charge, members of the Haryana Property Consultants Federation, community leaders, and media representatives congratulated him and extended their best wishes for his tenure.
