The Impressive TimesFaridabad, 15 May, 2024 : Congress Lok Sabha candidate and former cabinet minister Chaudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh kicked off his electoral campaign today with a dozen election rallies, including one in the village of Badoli in the Tigaon assembly constituency, where he was warmly welcomed by the people with enthusiasm and fervor, adorned with turbans and garlands as a symbol of their open support. The rally in Badoli was organized by District Councilor Birpal Gurjar, Rakesh Chandila, and Ranbir Chandila.
Additionally, he appealed to vote for Congress in electoral rallies held in Gajipur, Kawarka, Pingod, Bhataula, Faridpur, and Fred’s Colony, as well as near Krishna Colony, Bata Pul, NIT No. 5, and Lotus Garden in Prithla. During these events, he was greeted with flower garlands, signifying the endorsement of his candidacy.
Taking aim at the present BJP government, Lok Sabha candidate Chaudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh accused the current BJP MP of neglecting Faridabad for the past 10 years. He criticized the government’s rhetoric and alleged corruption, claiming that this government has plundered the public. Once known as the Industrial City, Faridabad is now witnessing increasing unemployment due to the exodus of industries, he added.
Pointing fingers at the BJP government for corruption, he emphasized the necessity to uproot this corrupt regime so that prosperity can return to people’s lives. He remarked on the growing support for Congress in the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency, indicating a rising demand for change throughout Haryana. He urged people to recognize the power of their vote and defeat these purveyors of false promises.
In a crowded assembly, Congress Lok Sabha candidate Chaudhary Mahendra Pratap Singh remarked that the overwhelming presence and enthusiasm of the people indicate that they are determined to make Congress victorious this time. He asserted that BJP candidates are now disillusioned and disheartened as even the name of Modi is failing to garner votes. This election has become a battleground for corruption and honesty, and people are choosing honesty, whose voice is resonating across the state.
He stated that Faridabad was number one during the Congress government’s tenure. However, under the BJP’s tenure, it has deteriorated to Fakirabad. Unemployment has increased due to the lack of job availability for youth. The city’s cleanliness has reached an all-time low, and corruption prevails under the guise of development. He assured the people that development in Faridabad was initiated by the Congress party and would accelerate once again under a Congress government.
On this occasion, thousands of prominent personalities from the area, including former MLA Lalit Nagar, Chaudhary Ranvir Chandila, Choudhary Dayaram, Choudhary Jaypal, Dharma Chandila, Samundar Chandila, Madan Chairman, Girish Bhardwaj, Rajesh Arya, Pandit Manoj, Sant Raj, Surendra Jaiswal, Jayveer Daima, Master Kailash, Anjay Chandila, Shyam Netaji, Harinchand, Shamsu Thekedhar, Abhash Chandila, Mahendra Chandila, Kuldeep, Choudhary Rammehar Chandila, Vikas alias Vicky, Bijendra Thekedhar, Shriram, Satish Sarpanch, Khairati, Ved Prakash Yadav, Chaudhary Dayachand, Chandrashekhar Chandila, Choudhary Jeevan Lal, Rajendra Chaprana, etc., were present in large numbers.
