Palwal: In a rare display of sensitivity and direct connect with people, Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar chose to travel by tractor to reach Indranagar village, where he interacted with flood-affected residents and assured them of early redressal of their grievances. During his visit to Yamuna-affected villages including Indranagar, Mohbalipur, Achheja, Kashipur, and Tikri Gurjar, the Minister listened to villagers’ problems and directed officials to resolve them promptly.

He assured Indranagar residents that the link road and culvert would be constructed soon, while promising 100-square-yard plots for villagers of Mustafabad as per their demand. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Harish Kumar Vashishth, SP Varun Singla, and former MLA Deepak Mangla, Krishan Pal Gurjar traveled by tractor along the kachcha road to reach Indranagar. Additional Deputy Commissioner Jaydeep Kumar, SDM Jyoti, former BJP District President Charan Singh Tewatia, and local leaders were also present. Krishan Pal Gurjar expressed grief over the widespread damage caused by heavy rains across the country, noting losses to life, crops, and infrastructure.

He assured that the Haryana government under CM Nayab Singh Saini is fully alert, monitoring the situation, and committed to compensating farmers for crop losses. He urged farmers to register on the E-Compensation Portal before September 15 to claim benefits. The Minister also inspected the safe house set up at the Government Primary School in Mustafabad, where displaced families are being provided food, drinking water, healthcare, and shelter for livestock. Villagers confirmed that all necessary arrangements were in place.
He also distributed relief materials among residents and instructed officials to ensure no one faces hardship. DC Harish Kumar Vashishth added that the administration is extending all possible support to affected families.

Medical teams are regularly conducting health checkups, while facilities for fodder, shelter, and veterinary care for animals have also been arranged.
