Faridabad: A felicitation ceremony for blood donors was organised at Brahma Kumaris NIT Service Centre, where more than 100 donors were honoured for their selfless contribution. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Satbir Maan attended the event as the chief guest and lauded the donors, stating that “blood donation is a supreme gift, as it saves lives in times of crisis and brings heartfelt blessings to the donor.” Service Centre in-charge, Brahma Kumari Usha Didi, emphasised that along with donating blood, one should also donate happiness, peace, love, and joy.

She noted that in today’s environment of distress and unrest, uplifting others’ spirits and bringing smiles is also a noble act. The event was attended by organisations and individuals who have made significant contributions in the field of blood donation, including A.S. Patwa, Umesh Arora, Rotarian Deepak Prasad, Dr. Hemant Atri, Vikas Kalia, Maa Donors Family, Manav Sewa Samiti, Punjabi Sewa Samiti, Prakriti Trust, and members of the Road Safety Organisation. District Red Cross Society Secretary Bijender Sorot and Additional Secretary Purushottam Saini also extended their best wishes on the occasion.
