New Delhi – In a significant step towards enhancing internal communication and showcasing training excellence, the Delhi Police Academy (DPA) unveiled the inaugural edition of its quarterly newsletter, “बढ़ते कदम – Marching Ahead”, at the Delhi Police Headquarters today.
The ceremonial release was led by Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi. Present on the occasion were Special Commissioner of Police (Training) Sanjay Kumar, Joint Director Asif Mohammad Ali, and Deputy Director cum Editor Mohammad Ali.

During the event, Sanjay Kumar emphasized the importance of the newsletter, noting that it would serve as a dynamic platform to reflect the Academy’s training activities, innovation, and progress. He added that it would also provide an avenue for both trainers and trainees to share experiences, ideas, and creative expressions.
Commissioner Sanjay Arora lauded the initiative and the editorial team’s efforts in compiling a newsletter that is both insightful and informative. He noted that such a publication would enable police personnel to remain informed about the latest developments in training, instructional best practices, and professional achievements.
The newsletter, titled “Badhte Kadam – Marching Ahead”, will be published every quarter and will feature a mix of articles, field reports, training updates, success stories, and innovations from the Delhi Police Academy. It aims to not only document the Academy’s evolving training landscape but also inspire officers through knowledge-sharing and recognition of excellence.
