Faridabad – Haryana Cabinet Minister for Revenue & Disaster Management, Urban Local Bodies, and Civil Aviation Vipul Goel on Friday strongly responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote theft in the elections, stating that Rahul Gandhi makes such claims merely to stay in the news. Speaking at a press conference, Goel said, “Nothing Rahul Gandhi says is ever true. Earlier he claimed the government would amend the Constitution or end reservation for backward classes, and now he alleges vote theft. If votes were really stolen, he should submit a written complaint so that action can be taken.
The Election Commission has repeatedly asked him to file complaints, but he only makes speeches from the stage and microphone.” He further criticized Rahul Gandhi, saying he only seeks headlines. State Minister for Food Supply, Rajesh Nagar, Suraj Prakash Hospital Chairman, Rajkumar Aggarwal, Industrialist Arun Bajaj, Shankar Khandelwal and others were also present at the press conference. Vipul Goel announced that Haryana will host a state-level Agrasen Jayanti celebration on September 22 in Panchkula. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will be the chief guest, while the program will be chaired by Cabinet Minister Vipul Goel. He said this is the first time such a large state-level event is being organized.
The celebration aims to unite society and promote brotherhood. People from across Haryana will participate, including 10 buses and several vehicles from Faridabad. He added that most members of the Agra community are fully capable and focused on contributing to society, ensuring that every individual in the country benefits and becomes empowered. The minister asserted, “Rahul Gandhi is not a serious leader. Sometimes he undertakes a bicycle march, sometimes a padayatra. He disrupts Parliament or assemblies and organizes various events just to gain publicity. When the country or his party needs him, he is abroad or elsewhere; when idle, he returns to create political events.” He concluded by stating that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is safe and stable, and no irregularities are possible. “Rahul Gandhi just needs a platform to maintain his political existence,” he added.
