“Unprovoked Firing: Pakistan violates ceasefire, BSF retaliates in Jammu & Kashmir”

Jammu, Nov 9- In an unfortunate incident, Pakistan troops violated the ceasefire agreement by firing unprovoked along the International Border in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir. However, the Border Security Force (BSF) promptly retaliated to the firing.

The BSF spokesman reported that during the intervening night of November 8-9, Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked firing in the Ramgarh area, which was met with a strong and befitting response from BSF troops.

This incident follows similar violations in the region, as on both October 18 and 26, Pakistan had also breached the ceasefire by firing unprovoked in the Arnia sector, resulting in two BSF personnel sustaining bullet injuries. On October 28, the Border Security Force, Jammu Frontier, expressed its strong protest to the Pakistan Rangers during a Flag meeting at Octroi Post regarding the unprovoked shelling.
