PM announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees for each kin of the deceased and fifty thousand rupees for injured

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has offered his condolences. The prime minister expressed his sadness on social media about the West Bengal train catastrophe. He prayed for the injured to heal as quickly as possible and offered his sympathies to those who had lost loved ones. The prime minister assessed the situation and had a conversation with the officials. According to him, rescue efforts are in progress to help the impacted parties, and Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is en route to the accident scene.

Two lakh rupees would be given as an ex-gratia from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The money would be handed to each deceased person’s next of kin in the railway
