Sonipat City Magistrate Dr. Anmol administers Constitution oath to officers and employees on Constitution Day

Officials pledge to uphold the spirit of the Preamble, City Magistrate stresses duties along with rights and commitment to national unity and integrity.

Sonipat: On the occasion of Constitution Day, SDM Dr. Anmol administered an oath to officers and employees of various departments to uphold the ideals of the Preamble and work in accordance with the spirit of the Constitution.

The oath ceremony was held at the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat. Greeting everyone on the occasion, Dr. Anmol said that the strength of India lies in its great Constitution.

It is because of this Constitution that India today stands as the world’s largest and strongest democracy sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic united with a strong sense of national integrity.

Dr. Anmol recalled that the Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, and came into force on January 26, 1950.

Emphasising the balance between rights and duties, City Magistrate said that while the Constitution grants every citizen fundamental rights, it also prescribes duties that must not be ignored.

Fulfilling constitutional duties is essential for nation-building, Dr. Anmol added. City Magistrate urged everyone to contribute to the nation in line with the vision of the Constitution’s framers and remain committed to safeguarding the country’s unity and integrity.

The event was attended by DCP Kushal Singh, ACP Rajdeep Mor, DRO Sushil Sharma, Tehsildar Kirti Dahiya, DDPO Manish Malik and officers and employees from various departments.
