The Impressive TimesPune– Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday conveyed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in a tragic accident in Pune, Maharashtra, and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
Taking to social media, the Prime Minister described the incident as deeply saddening and offered sympathy to the bereaved families. He announced that the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) will provide ₹2 lakh each to the next of kin of those who died in the mishap, while those injured will receive ₹50,000 each.
“May the injured regain their health soon,” he added, reiterating the government’s commitment to supporting victims and their families during this difficult time.
The announcement was made in both English and Marathi, reflecting solidarity with the people of Maharashtra.
