Patna: The Patna Municipal Corporation’s sanitation awareness team, along with brand ambassador Dr. Nitu Kumari Navgeet, conducted a cleanliness awareness programme at Upendra Maharathi Shilp Anusandhan Sansthan to boost public participation in the Swachhata Ranking. Artists and trainers were informed about the importance of cleanliness and encouraged to participate in the Swachhata Survey and motivate others.

Dr. Nitu Navgeet said cleanliness is a collective responsibility and citizens’ participation is essential to make Patna clean and improve its ranking.

She also spread the message of “Clean Patna, Beautiful Patna” through folk and cleanliness songs. She highlighted that the survey spreads awareness, allows citizens to give suggestions, brings recognition to well-performing cities, helps prevent diseases, protects the environment, and promotes community participation.

Artists including Anu Kumari, noted Madhubani painter Rajkumar, and Omkar Maurya supported the initiative and pledged to promote cleanliness through art.
