Health and safety of students priority as AQI hits dangerous levels

Faridabad: In response to the escalating pollution levels, DC Vikram Singh has announced the closure of schools for all students up to Class 12 in the district. After assessing the Air Quality Index (AQI), it was found that certain areas of Faridabad have witnessed AQI levels in the very poor and severe categories over the last 24 hours. To safeguard the health of students, the district administration has ordered that schools in both urban and rural areas remain closed from November 19 to November 23. However, to ensure continuity in education, all government and private schools will switch to online classes for the affected students during this period. The decision prioritizes the well-being of children, urging residents to take necessary precautions as pollution levels remain high.
