CBSE Class 12th Results 2025 Declared: Over 87% Students Pass, Girls Outshine Boys Once Again

In a major development for lakhs of students across the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12th Board Exam Results 2025 today. The results were released on the official websites — cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in — at around 12 noon, bringing relief and excitement to students, parents, and schools alike.

Once again, girls have outshone boys in overall performance with a margin of nearly 7%. The Trivandrum region continues to dominate the merit charts, followed by Bengaluru and Chennai.

Continuing its recent trend, the CBSE has not released a topper list to avoid unnecessary pressure and unhealthy competition among students. Instead, the board has appreciated the efforts of all students who appeared amid changing exam patterns and increasing academic competition.
