New Delhi, March 17: Marking the Raising Day of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday praised the agency’s relentless efforts in tackling drug abuse and trafficking across the country, highlighting its vital role in safeguarding the nation’s youth.
Taking to social media, Shah acknowledged the bureau’s growing impact in curbing the spread of narcotics and strengthening enforcement mechanisms. He underscored that the NCB continues to work with efficiency and determination in addressing one of the most pressing social challenges.
The Home Minister also pointed out that the agency’s work aligns closely with the broader national goal of building a drug-free India, a vision championed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
