Chittorgarh, Rajasthan: Yogi Adityanath attended the Jauhar Shradhanjali ceremony organized by the Jauhar Smriti Sansthan at the historic land of Chittorgarh Fort in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Rajput women.
During the event, the Chief Minister said that the resolve of Rani Padmini to perform Jauhar symbolized the dignity, honor, and indomitable spirit of Indian womanhood. He stated that the valor and self-respect demonstrated by such historic figures continue to inspire generations across the country.
The ceremony was attended by several prominent dignitaries, including Vishvaraj Singh Mewar, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Rajasthan Cabinet Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.
CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that from north to south and east to west, every Indian bows in respect to the glorious legacy of warriors and heroes such as Maharana Pratap, Maharana Sanga, Rani Padmini, Maharana Kumbha, and Bappa Rawal, whose courage and sacrifices are deeply embedded in India’s cultural heritage.
He also congratulated the organizers for hosting the grand event and expressed heartfelt respect for the brave women and mothers who upheld the vow of Jauhar in defense of their honor and dignity.
