Ayodhya, Mar 12:Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday visited Ayodhya on a one-day trip, during which he offered prayers at the Hanumangarhi temple and the Ram Temple and reviewed the progress of construction work in the temple complex.
The chief minister began his visit by offering prayers at the Hanumangarhi temple, where he performed traditional rituals and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the state. He later proceeded to the Ram Temple, where he bowed before Ram Lalla, performed the aarti and circumambulated the temple premises.

During his visit, Adityanath also reviewed the ongoing construction work within the Ram Temple complex. Officials from the Shri Ram Temple Trust briefed him about the current status of the construction and the upcoming phases of development.
The chief minister also met several saints during his visit to Hanumangarhi and enquired about their well-being. He interacted with Mahant Premdas Maharaj and other seers present at the temple.
Earlier, Adityanath was received by public representatives and officials upon his arrival at the Ramkatha Park helipad in Ayodhya. Among those present were Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Ayodhya Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, MLAs Ved Prakash Gupta, Ram Chandra Yadav, Chandrabhan Paswan and Amit Singh Chauhan, as well as Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust General Secretary Champat Rai.
