New Delhi, June 11, 2025 – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the results of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025, conducted on May 25. Candidates who have cleared the exam can now prepare for the next stage—the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025.

Qualified candidates have been listed via their roll numbers on the Commission’s website, and their selection for the Mains is provisional. According to UPSC guidelines, shortlisted candidates will need to complete further formalities during the registration window from June 16 to June 25, 2025.

During this period, candidates must:

  • Pay a registration fee of ₹200 (waived for SC/ST/PwBD/female candidates).

  • Submit or update details regarding scribe assistance, assistive devices, or requirement for large-font question papers for the Mains.

  • Provide a gazette notification if there has been a change in their name post-matriculation or if discrepancies exist between their certificates and online application.

Important Note: Results of four candidates (Roll Nos: 7004555, 6305469, 6413314, and 6610122) are currently withheld due to pending court proceedings.

The Commission has also stated that cut-off marks, answer keys, and individual scores will only be released after the final declaration of results for both the Civil Services and Indian Forest Service Examinations 2025.
