Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasizes integrated delivery of agricultural benefits through single platform

Lucknow, April 1, 2026: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to roll out the farmer registry system across the state on a large scale to ensure that all eligible farmers are brought under its coverage.

He directed that special camps be organised in every gram panchayat at the earliest to register farmers, ensuring that no eligible beneficiary is left out of the system. The Chief Minister stated that the state government is developing the farmer registry as a unified platform for delivering benefits from various agricultural schemes in a streamlined and efficient manner using a single identity.

He further instructed that discrepancies in beneficiary records under schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi and crop insurance programmes should be corrected on priority by linking them with Aadhaar. He also emphasised the need to ensure that every eligible farmer is issued a farmer identity card.

The Chief Minister directed the Agriculture Department to establish the necessary technical framework to integrate all schemes with the farmer registry within a fixed timeline and make the departmental portal fully operational by May 1, 2026.

Additionally, allied departments including horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperation, and minor irrigation have been asked to complete their preparations by May 31, 2026 and coordinate with the Agriculture Department to implement a uniform system across sectors.
