Greater Noida : A delegation from the Telangana government’s Future City Development Authority visited the Greater Noida Authority on Tuesday. The delegation explained that the Telangana government plans to develop a township near Hyderabad. They visited Greater Noida to gather information about the state of the industrial township. Following the instructions of Greater Noida Authority CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar, senior officials from the Greater Noida Authority met with the delegation and shared information on the land acquisition and allocation process and policies.

The delegation included Future City Development Authority Deputy Collector (Special Grade) Venkateshwar Lu, Planning Officer Snehmala, Deputy Executive Engineer Venkat Kiran, and Assistant Urban Planner Akshay Kumar. Senior officials, including ACEO Sumit Yadav, General Manager Finance Swatantra Gupta, Principal General Manager Sandeep Chandra, OSD Naveen Kumar Singh, and Manager Arvind Mohan, met with the delegation. The delegation gathered information on various aspects of Greater Noida and IITGNL, including infrastructure, planning, building plans, and the allocation process.

The Planning Department of the Authority provided information on the master plan, sector layouts, building bylaws, settlements, all land acquisition provisions, and benefits to farmers. The Projects Department provided information on Greater Noida’s infrastructure. Swatantra Gupta, General Manager of the Finance Department, presented the financial module. The process for making the Authority self-financed was explained. Arvind Mohan Singh, Manager of the Industry Department, provided information on the industrial policies, schemes, and allocation process in Greater Noida.
The delegation also visited IITGNL’s Integrated Industrial Township. They learned about the township’s plug-and-play system, waste processing plant, and 24-hour electricity and water supply. The delegation praised Greater Noida and IITGNL’s infrastructure. They expressed their appreciation for the information they gained from these activities. The delegation concluded that the information gained would greatly benefit the Future City Development Authority in developing the new city.
