Minister Rajesh Nagar says CM ordered immediate relief, best medical care and a detailed probe
The Impressive TimesFaridabad (Surajkund): Following the unfortunate incident of a ride collapse at the 39th Surajkund International Crafts Mela-2026, Haryana Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Rajesh Nagar on Sunday inspected the accident site and reviewed the situation. Before the inspection, the minister visited Supreme Hospital, where he met the injured persons undergoing treatment and enquired about their health.
He held discussions with doctors, reviewed the progress of treatment, and directed that the injured be provided the best possible medical care. He also assured the victims and their families of all necessary assistance from the government. Rajesh Nagar said Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had taken immediate cognisance of the incident and, in accordance with his directions, there was no laxity in relief and rescue operations. He stated that the administration was extending full support to the affected with sensitivity and that a thorough investigation into the incident was underway. The minister instructed officials to accord top priority to treatment, relief measures and safety arrangements, and to take concrete steps to prevent recurrence of such incidents in the future.
