New Delhi– As part of Sewa Parv 2025, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav planted a sapling at the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary (ABWLS) in New Delhi on 25 September 2025, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to environmental protection under the national campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.”
The event saw enthusiastic involvement from school children, senior officials of the Union Ministry, the State Forest Department of GNCTD, and the 132 Eco Task Force (ETF), Rajput Regiment, stationed at ABWLS.

Addressing participants, Yadav encouraged students and ETF personnel to treat environmental conservation as a collective responsibility and a movement for a greener future. He highlighted that community-driven initiatives, such as planting and caring for trees in honour of mothers, play a crucial role in building a sustainable nation.

The programme concluded with a renewed pledge to continue community-based environmental actions under Sewa Parv 2025, inspiring citizens across India to actively engage in tree plantation and long-term care.
