CM Rekha Gupta holds Jan Sunwai at the Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Sadan, says “Public dialogue is the soul of good governance”

New Delhi, 12 November 2025– Delhi Chief Minister  Rekha Gupta met citizens from various parts of the capital during a Jan Sunwai (public hearing) held at the Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Sadan. She listened attentively to people’s problems, complaints, and suggestions, and issued clear instructions to officials of the concerned departments to take immediate action. The Chief Minister stated that ensuring the timely resolution of public issues is the government’s highest priority. She directed officials to act on every complaint with sensitivity and urgency so that citizens receive their rights and access to public services on time.

 

During the hearing, the Chief Minister personally interacted with the complainants, assuring them that their concerns and suggestions would be addressed as quickly as possible. She said that the Delhi Government is committed to bridging the gap between the administration and the public, making governance more transparent and accountable through active public participation.

The Chief Minister remarked that public dialogue is the soul of good governance. Connecting with people, listening to them, and providing solutions are the true hallmarks of democracy. It is through such dialogue that the government’s resolve for good governance becomes even stronger. She added that the Jan Sunwai at the Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Sadan is an important step in the Delhi Government’s ongoing efforts towards public participation and transparent governance. Through this initiative, the government is committed to reaching out directly to citizens and working towards sustainable solutions to their problems.
