New Delhi, September 8, 2025 – As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Navy Children School (NCS), Delhi, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh interacted with students and the Principal of the school at South Block, New Delhi.
Addressing the students, Rajnath Singh encouraged them to dream with purpose, pursue their goals with sincerity, and uphold a strong sense of national pride in all their endeavors. He urged them to remain humble yet strong, and to fulfill their duties with honesty and respect in whichever capacity they serve. The Minister placed special emphasis on the importance of character development during children’s formative years.
Rajnath Singh lauded the role of Navy Children School in shaping the character and aspirations of students through discipline, service, and patriotism. He underlined the crucial contribution of schools under the Ministry of Defence in nation-building, describing them not just as centres of academic learning, but as platforms that instill the values of leadership, integrity, and responsibility in future generations.

During the event, the Minister was given a brief overview of NCS’ vision and achievements. Students shared their personal experiences, highlighting how the school plays a central role in their holistic development. As a gesture of respect, the students presented handcrafted tokens, along with a Coffee Table Book and a Crest, to the Raksha Mantri.
