Scheme empowers youth and promotes values of wisdom and self reliance

New Delhi, April 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hailed the completion of eleven years of the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, stating that the initiative has played a crucial role in enabling young people across India to pursue self employment and build independent livelihoods.

Highlighting the broader impact of the scheme, he said its success reflects how providing timely opportunities can help individuals become self reliant while also contributing meaningfully to national development. The Prime Minister noted that such initiatives are strengthening the foundation of an enterprising and confident India.

Narendra Modi also presented a Sanskrit verse to underline the qualities of a truly wise person. The verse conveys that wisdom lies in self awareness, commitment to good actions, patience in difficult times, adherence to ethical values, and the ability to remain unaffected by greed.

The remarks came as the government marked another year of the flagship scheme, which continues to support aspiring entrepreneurs and expand access to financial resources for small businesses across the country.
