New Delhi, October 30, 2025 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi has unveiled his vision for India’s maritime transformation, calling on global investors to seize emerging opportunities in the nation’s rapidly expanding blue economy.

In a detailed post shared on LinkedIn, the Prime Minister emphasized that India stands as the “perfect harbour” for investment in the maritime sector. Highlighting the country’s strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and strong policy intent, he said that India offers an ideal ecosystem for growth in shipbuilding, port development, logistics, coastal shipping, and allied industries.

“With a coastline stretching over 7,500 kilometres and an expanding network of world-class ports, India is ready to become a global maritime hub,” the Prime Minister noted. He added that India’s focus on green shipping, digital innovation, and value-added services will play a key role in shaping sustainable maritime growth.

Reiterating his invitation to investors,  Modi stated that India’s modern infrastructure, innovation-driven mindset, and transparent policies make it a reliable and future-ready destination for maritime investments.
