The Impressive TimesNuh– Deputy Commissioner (DC) Vishram Kumar Meena, in a press conference on Wednesday, clarified that the minor altercation between two youths in Mundaka village of Ferozepur Jhirka subdivision on Tuesday was swiftly resolved, and the situation has remained completely peaceful since.
He emphasised that certain people are portraying the incident as a communal clash, whereas the reality is entirely different. “There is complete peace in the area, and the matter was resolved on time,” he stated.
The DC informed that SDM Ferozepur Jhirka, Laxmi Narayan, and DSP Ajayab Singh are continuously monitoring the situation and have also visited the spot. Additionally, a peace committee meeting was held in Ferozepur Jhirka, involving members from all communities, to appeal for the maintenance of peace and law and order.
The dispute, he explained, originated over a parking issue, and discussions are underway with both parties to reach an amicable resolution. He urged residents not to spread or believe any rumours about the incident and to rely solely on official information.
DC Meena warned that strict legal action will be taken against any anti-social elements attempting to spread misinformation through social media or any other means.
“We request all district residents to cooperate with the administration in maintaining peace,” he added.
