New Delhi- Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Ayush, will organise its 30th National Seminar on the theme “Management of Illness & Wellness in Paediatrics through Ayurveda” on 18–19 August 2025 at the Scope Complex Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The two-day seminar will bring together renowned scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students to deliberate on traditional Ayurvedic approaches and contemporary evidence-based practices for promoting child health and wellness. The event aims to foster academic exchange, innovation, and collaboration in paediatric Ayurveda.
Union Minister Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Ayush and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, emphasised the role of Ayurveda in nurturing children’s health as a cornerstone of a healthy society. He said the seminar is a timely initiative to showcase Ayurveda’s holistic approach towards illness management and wellness promotion in children.
Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush and Padma Shri awardee, highlighted the seminar as an opportunity to inspire new perspectives, strengthen evidence-based practices, and encourage collaboration in paediatric Ayurveda. Vaidya Devinder Triguna, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee and President of RAV’s Governing Body, will also participate in the deliberations.
The seminar will feature scientific research paper presentations on paediatric health, poster presentations by young scholars, interactive sessions on preventive and promotive child healthcare, and distribution of souvenirs, seminar kits, participation certificates, and credit points for registered delegates.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated the importance of integrating traditional medicine with modern healthcare to ensure wellness for all, particularly children, who are considered the future of the nation.
