Patna: In a bold response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Government of India has launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, a targeted military operation striking key terrorist camps across the border in Pakistan. The move reflects India’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism and its resolve to safeguard national security.

As part of a larger diplomatic outreach to consolidate global opinion against cross-border terrorism, an all-party parliamentary delegation is being deployed to various international platforms to present India’s position and garner broader support from the global community.

Among the delegates chosen to represent India is Rajya Sabha MP and senior JD(U) leader Sanjay Kumar Jha, who has departed abroad on Tuesday. Representing the sentiments of Mithila and Bihar on the global stage, Jha will emphasize the need for concerted international action against state-sponsored terrorism and highlight India’s proactive strategy under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reacting to this development, Member of Parliament RP Mandal extended his warm congratulations to Sanjay Jha, stating,

“This is not only a proud moment for Jhanjharpur and the people of Mithila, but for the entire state of Bihar. MP Sanjay Jha’s inclusion in this crucial diplomatic mission showcases the trust placed in Bihar’s leadership and commitment to national interest.”

The Janata Dal (United) reaffirmed its unwavering support for the NDA-led central government, lauding its strong and resolute response to the growing threats of terrorism. Party leaders have praised the government for giving JD(U)

‘Operation Sindoor’ is being viewed as a turning point in India’s counter-terrorism strategy—both militarily and diplomatically—as it combines precision military action with a coordinated global diplomatic campaign. The deployment of an all-party delegation signals a rare bipartisan consensus in India’s foreign policy approach to terrorism.

With MP Sanjay Jha as a key voice in the global narrative, Bihar’s political leadership is contributing significantly to shaping India’s image as a decisive and responsible democracy determined to counter terrorism in all its forms.
