Newly Elected BJP National President Nitin Nabin to Accelerate Party’s Victory March: CM Nayab Saini

CM Congratulates Nitin Nabin, Takes Dig at Congress’ Dynastic Politics

NEW DELHI, January 20: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday said that just as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory march is progressing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the newly elected BJP National President  Nitin Nabin will further accelerate this journey.

Interacting with the media at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to  Nitin Nabin on assuming charge as the BJP’s National President.

The Chief Minister said that Nitin Nabin brings with him vast administrative and organisational experience. He has served the party in various capacities, has been elected five times as an MLA from Bihar, and has also served as a Minister in the Bihar Government. He said the BJP will greatly benefit from his experience and leadership.

Nayab Singh Saini said that in the BJP, the National President is elected through a democratic process and the party functions under his leadership. He expressed happiness over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that in the coming times, one lakh youth will be encouraged to join active politics, strengthening the democratic fabric of the country.

Taking a dig at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that in the BJP, even a person from an ordinary family can rise to the highest position, unlike the Congress and other parties where dynastic politics dominates.

He said that in such parties, leadership revolves around one family—first the father, then the son, and then the grandson—while the BJP offers equal opportunities to every worker based on merit and dedication. He added that the Congress cannot think beyond the Gandhi family and has no future for ordinary workers, whereas the BJP is a strong organisational party where hard work is duly recognised.

The Chief Minister informed that a committee chaired by  K. Laxman, National President of the BJP OBC Morcha, was constituted for the election of the National President. On the first day of nominations, only the nomination of  Nitin Nabin was received, following which he was elected unopposed.

On the occasion, Development and Panchayats Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Cooperation Minister  Arvind Sharma, and other leaders were present.
