The Impressive TimesJalandhar, May 9 , 2024 : Acting on a tip-off, Counter Intelligence police, Jalandhar, busted an inter-state weapon smuggling racket and arrested two smugglers along with six pistols and seven magazines. Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said Thursday that preliminary investigations have revealed that the racket was being smoothly run as they had procured four large weapon consignments in the last six months. Two more members of the racket, who are yet to be arrested, were said to be supplying weapons to gangsters.
