Pawar offered flowers at the memorial of the noted social reformer and founder of REI, who opened the doors of education for poor
people of all castes. At the ceremony held at the main office of Rayat Education Institutions (REI) in Satara, others
present were MP Shrinivas Patil, MLAs Shashikant Shinde, Balasaheb Patil, Vishwajeet Kadam,
REI chairman Chandrakant Dalvi among others.
